Investment Banking Portal

Client: Bank, USA

Year: 2024

Team: Me(UX), Software Architect, 2 Front-end developers, QA tester.

01. The Context

Due to new regulations, bank employees needed a unified portal to simplify data overview. They needed to deliver FRTB reports, but no solution was available to display the data effectively.

Multiple solutions were already available, however they were scattered around and hard to use.

02.Sitemap and benchmark analysis

After delivering research of benchmarks, and existing portals, as well as the stakeholder needs, I delivered a sitemap for this new portal.

It was especially crucial to understand the existing portals and how features of these portals could tie in into 1 solution.

03. Information Architecture

A numerous wireframes were delivered by me of crucial portal sections, based on best UX practices, the existing information of the portals, business needs and the users.

Throughout these stages, it was especially crucial to collaborate with the Software Architect and developers, to understand any technical constraints.

As the sole designer, I juggled different requirements - technical, business and user needs - which resulted in client satisfaction with the product.

04. High Fidelity Prototype

As the sole designer, on this project, in my role I developed a high fidelity prototype, and created a simple component library for the clients needs.

05. The Final Result

The new portal helps bank employees be efficient and deliver necessary reports on time.

Adrian A.Tores, Software Architect:

“Your ability to interact effectively with clients has been particularly impressive, and it is clear that you possess great communication skills.”
